- Bearing clearance - 0.05 - 0.25 mm
2. Check if the wheel rotates smoothly and evenly, and make sure there is no extraneous noise in the bearing.
3. Adjust the bearing preload if necessary.
4. Adjusting the axial clearance in the bearing.
Note: Adjustment of the axial clearance in the bearing is only carried out when replacing the bearing.
a) Press on one side of the axle shaft towards the differential thrust bearing.
b) Measure the distance "A" between the bearing holder and the rear axle beam.

c) Select and install a gasket that is 0.65 - 0.95 mm thicker than the measured gap.
d) Press from the opposite side of the vehicle on the axle shaft in the direction of the differential thrust bearing.
d) Measure the distance between the bearing holder and the rear axle beam.
e) Select and install a gasket that is 0.05 - 0.25 mm thicker than the measured gap.
g) Make sure that the axial clearance in the hub bearing is within the norm. Repeat the adjustment procedure if necessary.
