1. Using a drift and hammer, push the oil seal into the rear axle housing.

2. Using a mandrel and press, install the seal and bearing outer race into the bearing housing.

3. Install the inner ring and bearing nut.

a) Screw the bearing nut 3-5 turns from the side of the outer bearing ring. Using special tools, press in the inner bearing ring.

b) Remove the special tools and install the bearing nut on the axle shaft. Tighten the nut using a torque wrench.



c) Unscrew the nut and install the washer so that the protrusion on the washer coincides with the groove on the axle shaft.

d) Tighten the lock nut to the specified tightening torque.
  • Tightening torque - 275 - 313 Nm

d) Perform the bearing axial clearance adjustment procedure.
