1. Support the rear door in the fully open position.

2. Unscrew the nut securing the shock absorber to the door (photo).

3. Remove the lower bolts securing the "shock absorber to the body" (photo), and remove the shock absorber from the car.

4. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
