1. Open the cover and mark the location of the nut heads around them with a pencil to install them in the same position.
2. With the help of an assistant, support its weight, remove the mounting nuts and remove the cover from the car.
3. Position the trunk lid correctly, install and tighten the nuts. Check the trunk lid opening and adjust if necessary, then tighten the nuts.
