2. While holding the hood open, place a protective cover underneath (rags or cardboard) at the bottom of its corners and above the front fenders to avoid damaging the paint.
3. Mark the position of the mounting bracket with a pencil or paint to make it easy to align the hood during installation (photo).

4. Have an assistant support the weight of the hood, remove the mounting bolts and remove the hood from the vehicle.
5. Assembly is carried out in reverse order, being careful to align the suspension and bolts according to the marks made before removal.
