Rear Compartment Lid Lock Assembly — removal and installation (Mazda Capella GC)

1. Remove the trim panel for access.

2. Remove the fuse (sedan and coupe).



3. Remove the mounting bolt and lock to access the cable and rear lid release rod.

4. Disconnect the cable and the rear door opening rod, remove the lock from the car.
