Disassembling the rear shock absorber strut (Mazda 121 (3))

The operations are basically the same as those described for the front shock absorbers (see previous chapter).

Precautions: Loosen the fastening ring only when the spring is compressed by the compressor - this is dangerous!

1. Upper spring support mounting ring; 2. Rubber lining; 3. Upper spring cup; 4. Shock absorber; 5. Buffer (bumper); 6. Cuff; 7. Dust seal; 8. Spring.
