Removal and installation
Caution: When installing the crankshaft position sensor, make sure that it is thoroughly cleaned of any foreign metal materials, otherwise the signal from the sensor will be distorted when it is operating.
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. (If necessary) Remove the lower protection.
3. Disconnect the connector from the sensor and remove the crankshaft position sensor (2) by unscrewing the mounting bolt (1).
- Tightening torque - 8 - 11 Nm

4. Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Installation Note:
- Check the sensor O-ring and replace it if damaged.
- Apply a coat of clean engine oil to the O-ring and to the sensor mounting hole.
- Insert the sensor into the mounting hole until the sensor flange contacts the mounting surface.
- After installation, make sure the sensor O-ring is not twisted, bent or damaged.
Examination
The check is performed at idle speed after the engine has warmed up.
Use an oscilloscope to check the sensor's oscillogram. Connect the oscilloscope to the sensor's terminal "A" and ground, or to the sensor's terminal "B" and ground.

Parameters: division value along the Y axis - 5 V. division value along the X axis - 2 ms.
