Checking the intake air temperature sensor #1
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the sensor.
3. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals "A - B" of the sensor.

Based on website data (MAZBOOK)
If the resistance value is outside these limits, replace the sensor.
Checking the boost pressure sensor
1. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position (the engine is turned off).
2. Connect the scanner to the diagnostic connector and check the signal voltage of the boost pressure sensor (MAP PID).
- Signal voltage is about 1.65V
If the sensor signal voltage is not as specified, check the wiring harness. If the wiring harness is OK, replace the sensor.
3. Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
4. Check the boost pressure sensor (MAP PID) signal voltage at idle.
- Signal voltage is about 1.65V
If the sensor signal voltage is not as specified, check the wiring harness. If the wiring harness is OK, replace the sensor.
