Examination
1. Check the accelerator pedal for damage and loose parts.
2. Check that the accelerator pedal position sensor is installed correctly.
3. Measure the voltage between terminals "A" (supply voltage) and "D" (ground) of the sensor.
- Voltage - 4.9-5.1 V

4. Measure the voltage between terminals "B - D" and "C - D" of the sensor.
- Accelerator pedal not pressed - 0.4 -0.8 V
- Gradually pressing the accelerator pedal - linearly increases
- Accelerator pedal fully depressed - 3.4 - 3.8 V
If the sensor signal voltage is not as specified, check the wiring harness. If the wiring harness is OK, replace the sensor.
