Description
The electronic engine control unit has a built-in self-diagnostic system, which continuously monitors the engine condition using sensor signals. The malfunction is identified as a diagnostic code, which is stored by the electronic control unit.
Output of diagnostic codes
The engine management system diagnostic codes are displayed using a scanner. To display diagnostic trouble codes, you need to connect the scanner to the DLC2 diagnostic connector.
