Use only the fuel recommended for your vehicle.
Check the tension and condition of the V-belt.
Check coolant level.
Check engine oil level.
Attention! Traffic fumes (carbon monoxide CO)
Carbon monoxide (SO), which is part of the exhaust gases, is colorless and odorless. Exhaust gases are toxic, inhaling them in large quantities is life-threatening.
- If you feel that exhaust gases have leaked into the passenger compartment, find out where they are coming from and eliminate the cause as soon as possible.
- If, however, you are forced to drive a car. Drive only with open windows.
- indoors (like in a garage), allow the engine to run only for the necessary time - for the arrival and departure of the car.
- If the vehicle is parked in an unsuitable place and the engine must run for some time, air-condition the passenger compartment so that fresh air is constantly supplied.
- Never allow the engine to run in a vehicle that has been stopped for a long time.
- Carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless and may be present in other exhaust gases. Therefore, as soon as you smell exhaust gases in the cabin, immediately contact a service station for a complete check and repair of your car. Do not operate the vehicle with exhaust fumes entering the passenger compartment.
Installing the radio
If the radio receiver is not properly installed, or if you are using the wrong type of machine, the fuel injection system, speed control system, and other systems may not function. Contact a Mazda dealer for proper radio installation.
Precautions When Using the Emission Control System
(for engines with lead-free petrol)
Observe the following precautions:
- 1. Use only LEAD-FREE gasoline.
- 2. Do not run the engine or leave your vehicle where there are flammable materials that could ignite if they come into contact with the muffler. In dry weather conditions, such materials may ignite during the release of exhaust gases.
- 3. Do not operate the vehicle with obvious signs of poor engine performance such as misfiring or other obvious deterioration in engine performance.
- 4. Operate the engine correctly, do not overload.
