Ford KA: Removing and installing the door lock (Mazda 121 (3))

Note: The operations for this section are the same as those described for the Ford Fiesta/Mazda 121 models. Note the following differences.

Removal

Remove the rear door glass guide.

Remove the inner door handle drive from the door frame and unhook the drive cable (rod) from the door frame.

Installation

Align the lock motor and the inner door handle drive rod and secure it with bolts.

Caution: If the lock motor is not positioned correctly, the lock will not work.

Insert the inner door handle drive and secure it with screws.
