Remove the parts in the order they are numbered in the "Power Steering Pump" assembly drawing.
Power steering pump.
1 - hairpin,
2 - power steering pump assembly,
3 - inlet fitting,
4 - O-ring seal,
5 - nipple,
6 - O-ring seal,
7 - flow regulator,
8 - spring,
9 - pump cover,
10 - O-ring seal,
11 - stator ring,
12 - rotor,
13 - rotor blades,
14 - collector plate,
15 - sealing ring,
16 - power steering pump housing,
17 - pump shaft,
18 - oil seal.
Note: Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Disassembly notes
1. Hairpin.
a) Using two wrenches, tighten the two nuts on the stud.

b) Unscrew the stud by rotating it by the nut.
2. Power steering pump assembly.
To disassemble, secure the pump in a vice using a special bracket.

3. Pump shaft.
a) To remove the shaft, remove the retaining ring shown in the figure.

b) Using a plastic hammer, knock the shaft out of the pump housing.

4. Seal.
Using a slotted screwdriver, remove the oil seal.
Note: To prevent damage to the pump body, wrap the screwdriver in a rag. If the pump body is damaged, replace the pump assembly.

Assembly Notes
1. Seal.
Using a pipe of suitable diameter and a hammer, install the seal.

2. Pump shaft.
a) Using a pipe of suitable diameter and a hammer, install the pump shaft into the housing.

b) Install the retaining ring shown in the figure.

3. Collector plate.
When installing the collector plate, position it as shown in the figure.

4. Rotor, rotor blades and stator ring.
a) Install the rotor as shown in the figure.

b) Install the stator ring as shown in the figure.
c) Install the rotor blades.
5. Pump cover.
a) Install the O-ring and collector plate into the power steering pump housing.
b) Using the pump cover, adjust the position of the collector plate.

c) Install the pump cover.
6. Hairpin.
a) Using two wrenches, tighten the two nuts on the stud.
b) Tighten the stud by rotating it by the nut.

c) Using two wrenches, unscrew the nuts from the stud.
