Checking the steering wheel play (Mazda BT-50 (1))
1. With the front wheels in a straight-ahead position, gently turn the steering wheel to the right and left to make sure that the steering wheel play does not exceed the established norms.
2. To check the wear of the bearings and the steering shaft connection, as well as the steering column mount, shake the steering wheel as shown in the figure.
