Checking the front axle disconnect drive (Mazda BT-50 (1))

1. Jack up the car and place it on stands.

2. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the drive.

3. Connect the hand vacuum pump to the drive (front axle disconnect circuit), as shown in the figure.



4. Create a vacuum of 26.6 kPa and make sure that the thrust moves to the left,

5. Disconnect the hand vacuum pump.

6. Connect the hand vacuum pump to the drive (front axle connection circuit), as shown in the figure.

7. Create a vacuum of 26.6 kPa and check that the thrust moves to the right.

If the drive operation is not as described, replace the drive.
