1. Remove the radiator grille cover (if equipped) and the grille assembly (Section 11).

2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

1. Upper radiator grille cover; 2. Radiator grille; 3. Headlight and combination bracket holder; 4. High beam adjustment screw; 5. Spring; 6. High beam headlight assembly; 7. Low beam adjustment screw; 8. Low beam spring; 9. Low beam headlight assembly; 10. Front headlight assembly; 11. Suspension


3. Remove the headlight holder and headlight assembly.

4. Remove the four screws that secure the retaining ring and remove the ring. Hold the headlight bulb assembly as shown, disconnect the connector and remove it from the vehicle (photo).

5. Install the new unit tightly enough to connect the wires, retaining ring and mounting screws.

6. Install the holder and check its proper operation. If the adjusting screws have not been turned, the headlight should not require adjustment.

1. Radiator grille; 2. Front headlight assembly; 3. Bolt; 4. Inner spring; 5. External spring; 6. Headlight adjustment screw; 7. Foundation; 8. Bolts; 9. Suspension; 10. Headlight assembly (casing, spring, diffuser, incandescent lamp and holder)


7. Remove the front side light assembly.

8. Remove the bolts and release the springs that secure the headlight assembly. Disconnect the bulb wiring connector and remove the headlight assembly from the suspension.

9. To replace the incandescent lamp, see. v Chapter 10.

10. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
