Castle Lighting System — general description (Mazda Capella GC)

1. On models equipped with such a system, the driver's door lock and ignition switch illumination is provided for approximately 20 seconds after the door handle is raised.

2. In addition to the bulbs themselves, the system includes a timer unit located on the mount near the steering column and a door handle switch.

3. Replacing the ignition switch light bulb is described in Chapter 10.

4. Access to the door lock light and door handle switch can be gained by removing the door trim panel (Section 11). To replace the switch, the outside door handle must be removed.
