Retractable tilt-and-telescoping electric sunroof (Mazda Capella GC)

The sunroof can be opened or closed electrically when the key is in the "ON(II)" position in the steering wheel lock. To open, press the "SLIDE" button. The sunroof can be adjusted to any position.

To close, click on the adjacent button. To tilt the hatch cover, press the "UP" button. To close it, press the "DOWN" button. If you press the "OPEN" button while the sunroof panel is tilted, the sunroof closes and slides back.

Comment:

The hatch moves together with the lid.

Release the switch button only when the sunroof is fully open or raised. Otherwise, the hatch may be damaged.

Make sure the sunroof is completely closed when you leave the vehicle.

Comment:

Periodically remove dust that accumulates on the metal guides.

If the hatch is not functioning, it can be opened or closed using a handle with a hexagonal tip.

Caution! Do not put your hands or head through the hatch while the vehicle is moving.

Sun protection device

(if the car is equipped with a glass panel)

When the glass panel opens, the sun protection device opens at the same time. If the glass panel is closed, the sun protection device can be installed manually if desired.

If the glass panel is open, the sun protection device cannot be installed.
