Replacement of fixed glass (Mazda Capella GC)

The windshield and rear window are glued to a rubber gasket attached to the body. Replacing glass is a labor-intensive job that requires special skills. Without them, it is very difficult to ensure a tight seal on the glass, so it is advisable to have the glass replaced at a service station.

Triangular glass (coupe-type models)

Lift the seat belt cover and remove the seat belt mounting bolts from the center pillar.

Remove the center pillar trim.

Loosen the glass mounting nut and the self-tapping screw of the lock, then remove the glass (figure 12.20).

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
