After installing the door, check that the gap around the perimeter of the door is the same everywhere, and that the outer surface of the door is level with the rest of the body elements. To adjust the gap around the door, loosen the bolts that secure the door hinges to the door and, by moving the door, adjust its position, then tighten the bolts.

Lastly, loosen the bolts and adjust the position of the door lock strike plate so that the rear of the door is flush with the rear door or body components (figure 12.16).
