The models described in this manual are designed with "bearing" a body, to the bottom of which, to strengthen the body, front and rear subframes are attached, on which the body itself and elements of the front and rear suspensions rest.
Some components that are most vulnerable to accidents or wear are bolted on and can be easily replaced. Among them are elements such as pads, bumpers, hood and trunk lids, doors, as well as all windows.
This chapter covers only the range of issues that are within the competence of the car owner, namely, body maintenance, replacement and repair of major body parts.
