The models described in this Manual have a design with a "load-bearing" body, to the bottom of which, to strengthen the body, front and rear subframes are attached, on which the body itself and elements of the front and rear suspension rest.
Some components that are most vulnerable to accidents or wear and tear are bolted on and can be easily replaced. These include elements such as trims, bumpers, hood and trunk lids, doors, and all glass.
This chapter covers only the range of issues that are within the competence of the car owner, namely, body maintenance, replacement and repair of major body parts.
