Exterior mirrors
1. On models with electric mirrors, remove the door trim and protective covering (see paragraph 15).
2. Remove the inner trim of the mirror (figure 20.2).
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mirror (for models with electric mirrors).
4. Remove the three mirror mounting screws and remove the mirror from the vehicle (figure 20.4).
5. The mirror is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Interior mirror
Models produced before 1997.
6. Holding the mirror with your hand, use a thorium wrench to loosen the mounting screw and remove the mirror from the support (figure 20.6).

7. The mirror is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Models produced since 1998.
8. Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the mirror support so that the screwdriver is parallel to the windshield seal. Press the latch with a screwdriver and slide the mirror off the support.
9. To install the mirror, place it on the support and slide it until you hear the lock click.
