Light Bulbs (Late Models) — replacement (Mazda Capella GC)

1. There are two sizes of warning lights on the rear of the instrument panel on later models, the replacement procedure remains the same as described in Section 12, Chapter 10 (photo).

2. To replace the reverse light bulb, open the tailgate or trunk lid, then remove the screws and pull out the brackets as necessary, remove the trim from the rear of the car.

3. Unclip the bulb holder and remove the bulb by pressing and turning it (photo).





4. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.

5. To replace the door opening indicator light, remove the screw and lens, and pull out the light bulb (photo). Install the new light bulb, install the lens, and tighten the screw.

6. To replace the dimmer's rheostat backlight bulb, remove the rheostat and rotate the bulb holder from the rear (photo). Install the new bulb in the reverse order.
