Instrument cluster switch (late models) — removal and installation (Mazda Capella GC)

1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2. Lower the tilt steering wheel (if any). Otherwise, remove the steering wheel completely.

3. Remove the screws from the instrument panel surround, loosen the instrument cluster fasteners and disconnect the wiring from the switches.

4. Remove the mounting screws and separate the connector from its surroundings (photo).



5. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
