Warning: Coolant containing antifreeze is poisonous. Keep liquid out of reach of children and pets. Never leave spilled coolant on the garage floor or on the ground - children and pets may be attracted by the pleasant smell and ingestion is fatal. Do not let the liquid splash on your skin or painted parts of the car. Wash off any splashes immediately with plenty of water.
The cooling system must be filled with a mixture of antifreeze and water, which will prevent the liquid from freezing at temperatures down to -29°C. In addition, the addition of antifreeze protects the system from corrosion and increases the boiling point of the coolant.
Drain, flush and refill the cooling system at least once a year (see section 1). Using the fluid for more than two years will result in damage and corrosion in the system.
Before pouring antifreeze into the system, inspect all hose connections and tighten the cylinder head bolts.
The exact proportion of the antifreeze-water mixture depends on weather conditions. The minimum proportion of antifreeze is 50%, the maximum is 70%.
