The fan is driven by an electric motor, which is installed in the radiator casing and is switched on by a thermal switch.
Warning: The fan may start running even when the engine is already off. Disconnect the negative battery cable whenever you work near a fan.
The water pump is mounted on the front of the engine and is driven by a toothed drive belt.
The heater uses coolant heated by the engine to heat the car's interior. The fluid passes through the heater core, which is similar to a radiator, and comes into contact with the air being forced through the heater. Warm air enters the cabin through the air ducts. Regulation of the circulation of coolant and air through the core is performed by the driver.
Some models are equipped with air conditioning. The air conditioning system is located in the engine compartment. The compressor is driven from the crankshaft pulley via a drive belt.
