Attention! Work on the air conditioning system must be carried out by specially trained qualified personnel.
Attention! The air conditioning system is under high pressure. Even a partial disassembly of the system is not allowed without pressure relief in the service center (removal of hoses, air conditioning compressor, pipe joints, etc.).
Attention! The refrigerant can cause serious damage to the eyes or skin, and forms toxic gases in the vicinity of an open flame or a lit cigarette.
Remove the front protective grille.
Inspect the fins of the condenser and remove leaves and insect debris with a brush, check the fan and evaporator connectors.
Check the air conditioning hose connections. If there is hardening or wear, contact your dealer or a specialist workshop for replacement.
Periodically, in accordance with the instructions, check and adjust the tension of the A/C compressor drive belt.
Due to the fact that air conditioning system maintenance must be performed by qualified personnel using special tools and equipment, and because air conditioning systems installed on vehicles may differ from each other, a description of basic maintenance procedures is beyond the scope of this manual.
Turn on the air conditioning system for a few minutes every month, even if it is not necessary, to keep it in working condition.
Have the dealer or specialist check the refrigerant charge on the A/C system annually. Operating the system with insufficient refrigerant charge may result in system failure.
