Caution! Work on the air conditioning system must be performed by specially trained, qualified personnel.
Caution! The air conditioning system is under high pressure. Without relieving the pressure at the service center, even partial disassembly of the system is not allowed (removal of hoses, air conditioning compressor, pipe joints, etc.).
Caution: Refrigerant can cause serious eye or skin damage and forms toxic gases when near an open flame or lit cigarette.
Remove the front protective grille.
Inspect the condenser fins and use a brush to remove leaves and insect debris, check the fan and evaporator connectors.
Check the air conditioning system hose connections. If hardening or wear occurs, contact your dealer or a qualified workshop for replacement.
Periodically check and adjust the tension of the air conditioning compressor drive belt in accordance with the instructions.
Because servicing the air conditioning system requires qualified personnel using specialized tools and equipment, and because air conditioning systems installed on vehicles may vary, a description of basic servicing procedures is beyond the scope of this manual.
Run your air conditioning system for a few minutes every month, even if you don't need to, to help keep it running properly.
Have your dealer or a qualified technician check your air conditioning system's refrigerant charge annually. Operating the system with insufficient refrigerant charge may result in its failure.
