Cooling lines — removal and installation (Mazda BT-50 (1))

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the refrigerant from the system.

Caution: To avoid contamination of the system, immediately install plugs on open ends of pipes.


3. Remove the radiator grille.

4. Remove the cooling lines as shown in the figure "Cooling Lines".

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

6. Perform the actions described in the subsection "Checking the efficiency of the refrigerant circulation system".

Note: When installing new hoses or tubes, add the required amount of compressor oil:
  • Low pressure line hose - 4ml;
  • High Pressure Line Hose - 5ml;
  • Coolant circulation tube - 4 ml.
