Cooling system (Mazda BT-50 (1))

These engines use a closed-type liquid cooling system with forced circulation of the coolant. The coolant pump is driven by a drive belt of the attachment units. The coolant pump is made of aluminum alloy. To reduce the size, the pump impeller is installed in the cylinder block. The coolant pump is not serviced and is replaced as an assembly.

The thermostat with a bypass valve is located in the coolant inlet pipe and is designed to maintain the optimum temperature in the cooling system by releasing the coolant at a low or high rate (through the radiator) cooling circle.
