1. Remove the parts in the order they are numbered in the assembly drawing "Removing and installing the clutch".

2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove the clutch housing and clutch driven disc.

a) Install the tools for centering the discs and fixing the flywheel.

b) Loosen the clutch housing mounting bolts in a crisscross pattern, one turn each bolt, to ensure that the spring is released from pre-compression. Remove the clutch housing and clutch driven disc.

2. Remove the flywheel.

Note: After removing the flywheel, check that there is no oil leakage from the rear crankshaft oil seal. If a leak is found, replace the oil seal.


a) Install a special device to prevent the flywheel from turning.

b) In several passes, unscrew the flywheel mounting bolts in the sequence shown in the figure.

c) Remove the flywheel.



Installation Notes



1. Install the flywheel.

a) Remove any remaining old sealant from the threaded holes for the flywheel mounting bolts in the crankshaft and from the flywheel mounting bolts.

1 - return spring,
2 - clutch slave cylinder,
3 - gearbox,
4 - case,
5 - release bearing,
6 - clutch release fork,
7 - clutch housing,
8 - driven clutch disc,
9 - primary shaft support bearing of the gearbox,
10 - flywheel.


Note:
  • If you cannot completely remove the old sealant from the bolt, replace the bolt.
  • If you are installing a new bolt, do not apply sealant to it.


b) Install the flywheel on the crankshaft.

c) Apply sealant to the flywheel mounting bolts and install them.

d) Secure the flywheel from turning using a special tool.

d) Tighten the flywheel mounting bolts in the sequence shown in the figure.
  • Tightening torque - 15 - 16 Nm

2. Using a centering device, install the driven disk on the flywheel.

3. Install the clutch housing, tighten the clutch housing mounting bolts evenly and gradually in several stages in the sequence shown in the figure.
  • Tightening torque: 25-33 Nm
