To disconnect the side clamps of the radio from the walls of the socket, you need to use two key plates.

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.



Remove the radio trim panel, insert the two key plates into the holes on the sides of the radio, tilt them to the sides, which will release the spring clamps, and pull the radio out (figure 14.42).

Disconnect the antenna, speaker and power wires from the radio.
