Removal
For easier access, remove the instrument panel trim and the under-dash air duct.

Remove the clamp and disconnect the upper end of the clutch pedal rod (figure 9.2).
Remove the pedal pinch bolt and nut, disconnect the clutch cable, and remove the pedal and linkage assembly from the vehicle.
Installation
Before installation, generously lubricate the pedal bushing and cable hook with lithium-based lubricant.
Position the pedal correctly, screw in the pinch bolt and nut, and connect the clutch cable.
Connect the pedal rod.
Check the installation height and free play of the clutch pedal and adjust them if necessary.
Adjust the length of the auxiliary spring by turning the nut on the rod until the distance between the spring seat and the auxiliary seat is between 335mm and 127mm.
Install the air duct.
