Removal

In the engine compartment, unscrew the lock nut, the installation nut, remove the washer from the end of the cable and remove the cable from the release lever (figure 9.3).
Pull the cable out of the suspension bracket on the gearbox.
Remove the bracket strip and the cable mounting bracket. Loosen the nuts securing the cable to the engine compartment bulkhead.
Inside the vehicle, remove the instrument panel trim and the air duct under the instrument panel for easier access
Disconnect the cable from the clutch pedal and remove it from the vehicle.
Installation
Before installation, lubricate the contact surfaces of the roller and the release lever.
Insert the cable through the engine compartment bulkhead and connect it to the clutch pedal. Screw on the nuts securing the cable to the engine compartment bulkhead.
Insert the cable into the release lever and install the bracket strip and bracket.
Install the washer and screw on the set nut and lock nut.
Adjust the clutch pedal clearance.
Install the air duct and instrument panel trim.
