Removal
Radio
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the appropriate trim panel.
3. Insert the special tools into the holes on the radio panel and remove the radio.
4. Disconnect the connection connector and antenna wire.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Equalizer
6. Remove the center trim panel.
7. Disconnect the connection connector and unscrew the mounting screws (indicated by arrows) and remove the equalizer.
Front speakers
8. Remove the front door trim panel.
9. Loosen the mounting bolts (indicated by arrows), disconnect the connection connector and remove the speaker.
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Rear speakers
11. Remove the trim panels from the rear pillars on Ford Probe models. On Mazda models, remove the decorative grilles.
12. Loosen the mounting screws, disconnect the connection connector and remove the speaker.
13. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
High-frequency speakers
14. Remove the speaker from the instrument panel and disconnect the connection connector.
Installation
15. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
