1. Remove the dipstick and wipe the end of the dipstick. Insert the dipstick all the way into the tube and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the two lines on the dipstick. 2. The filler neck is located on the valve cover. The filler cap is unscrewed counterclockwise. To fill the oil, remove the filler cap, insert a funnel into the filler neck and pour in the oil.

Coolant

Coolant

On models produced since 1998, check that the coolant level is between the MAX and MIN marks on the side of the tank.

1. Check the coolant level in the reservoir regularly using the dipstick or the marks on the reservoir wall. When the engine is warm, the fluid level should rise to the upper mark. Add coolant if necessary. 2. When checking the coolant level, also check its condition. If the fluid has become brown or rusty in color, it must be replaced and the cooling system flushed.

Washer fluid

Washer fluid

The windshield washer fluid reservoir is located in the front corner of the engine compartment.

The rear window washer fluid reservoir is located in the trunk. Check that the fluid level is near the upper mark on the filler neck. During the cold season, use a special antifreeze coolant.

Brake fluid and clutch release fluid

Brake fluid and clutch release fluid

The brake fluid reservoir is located in front of the vacuum booster, and the clutch release hydraulic fluid reservoir is located near the brake fluid reservoir on the rear wall of the engine compartment. Check that the fluid level is between the MAX and MIN marks on the tank wall. Add the correct fluid type if necessary.
