A simple gauge can be used to check the tread depth. If the tread depth has decreased below the minimum permitted, the tires must be replaced.
Different forms of tread wear and possible causes
1. Low tire pressure
2. Incorrect wheel alignment
3. Uneven wear
Possible reasons:
- low tire pressure, poor wheel balance or deformation, too high tire pressure;
- the steering rods or steering arm are worn out;
- the front suspension components are worn or damaged, the suspension is not adjusted correctly.
1. Check the condition of the tread pattern and the degree of wear. Uneven tire wear indicates poor wheel balance or poor suspension adjustment.

2. Inspect the tires for cuts, punctures, stuck nails or other sharp objects. If there is an air leak, first check the reliability of the chamber valve.

3. If it is OK, check the tire surface for punctures by applying soapy water to the tire surface. An air leak will show up as bubbles.

4. Check your tire pressure regularly using an accurate gauge.
