Carpet and upholstery care (Mazda Capella GF)

1. Every three months (or better yet, more often) it is necessary to remove the mats from the car interior and clean the interior. Upholstery and carpets should first be cleaned with a squeegee and then dirt should be removed with a vacuum cleaner.

2. If carpets are heavily soiled, they should be removed from the vehicle for cleaning or washing and thoroughly dried before installation, then brushed to restore the pile.

3. The seats and interior trim panels of the car must be wiped with a damp cloth. We recommend using special cleaners for cleaning interior elements (for cleaning upholstery, plastic parts, etc. Use these cleaners in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions (first, test the product in an inconspicuous place, such as the sides of the seat cushion). Make sure that the product you use does not change the color of the surface being cleaned.

4. After cleaning, apply a protective compound to the vinyl upholstery.

Caution: Do not apply protective coating to the steering wheel.

5. Cleaning leather goods requires the use of soldering agents. Do not use alcohol, gasoline or acetone to clean leather.

6. After cleaning, apply a small amount of protective conditioner to the leather surfaces. Do not apply wax intended for car bodywork to leather.

7. Protect surfaces from direct sunlight with leather (individual with a long car stoma). In this case, cover these surfaces with rags.
