Removal
Raise and support the vehicle.
If the vehicle still has the factory two-piece exhaust system, separate the intermediate pipe at the location shown (see diagrams of different exhaust systems).
Note: A special chain cutter for exhaust pipes works best for cutting.

If a three-piece exhaust system is installed, loosen the U-bracket nuts and unhook the end muffler from the hangers.
Tighten the end muffler with a twisting motion. If the rear exhaust pipe does not tighten, heat the joint with a welding torch if possible.
Caution: Cover the fuel tank with asbestos cloth.
If there is no welding machine, then saw off the exhaust pipe with a hacksaw or a cutting machine. The remainder of the pipe remaining on the intermediate pipe is then sawed off and knocked off with a chisel.
Installation
To make it easier to loosen the exhaust system nuts and bolts, it is recommended to lubricate them with high-temperature copper paste.
Place the new end muffler on, align it and pre-install the mounting bracket.
Attach new rubber mounts.
Tighten the mounting bracket nuts to a torque of 30 Nm.
Lower the car.
