Removing
Remove gearbox.
Remove protective cap (1) from the bleeder valve (2). Open the air bleed valve.
Open primary valve (3).
Unscrew the bolts (1) and remove the slave cylinder (2). (3 - seal. When loose, it is replaced. To replace pry it off).
Tap the end side of the slave cylinder on a soft surface so that the release bearing slides out. The release bearing is simply inserted.
Examination
Compress the release bearing while rotating it. If the bearing rotates heavily, it must be replaced.
Attention: The bearing is filled with grease at the factory and must not be cleaned or relubricated.
Check working surfaces for wear, corrosion and damage.
Installation
Lubricate all bearing surfaces and contact surfaces with high temperature molybdenum grease. Remove old grease if necessary.
Attention: Do not apply too much grease, so that grease does not get on the working surfaces of its discs when installing the clutch.
Install new seal.
Slide the release bearing onto the slave cylinder. Tighten the slave cylinder bolts until the seal is pressed into the gearbox housing.
Replace primary valve o-ring if damaged. Tighten the bleed valve and primary valve to 10 Nm. Do not overtighten, otherwise there will be violations during operation.
Put the protective cap on the bleeder valve.
Install gearbox.
