The dual trip meter displays two different distances. To switch from meter readings "A" to meter readings "B" or vice versa, press the switch. The total mileage counter reading doubles. The trip meter "A" (or "B") can be set to zero. Press the reset button for about a second when the "A" meter reading is displayed. For example, you can use one meter to calculate fuel consumption and the other to determine the total mileage.
