2. Connect the ohmmeter as shown in the illustration to test the low voltage circuit.

3. If the ignition coil low voltage circuit is working properly there will be continuity.
4. Measure the resistance on the secondary winding of the ignition coil with an ohmmeter as shown in the illustration and compare it with the data in Specifications.

5. Measure the insulation resistance between the primary terminal and the case with a multimeter, as shown in the illustration.

6. Replace the ignition coil with a new one if it fails any of the tests.
