Removal
1. Remove the air filter assembly.
2. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation valve and hose.
3. Remove the mounting bolts and separate the cover from the engine.
4. Clean the contact surface of the camshaft cover from any remaining gasket material. Be careful not to damage the aluminum surface of the head.
Installation
5. Position the cover and new gasket correctly. Install the bolts and tighten them to the specified tightening torque Specifications (photo).
Always use a torque wrench, especially when working on cylinder head components
6. Install the positive crankcase ventilation and air cleaner assemblies.
