Removal
1. Jack up the front of the vehicle and securely support it on axle stands on the jack stands.
2. Remove the front right wheel and mudguard from the fender.
3. Loosen the auxiliary drive belt (Section 1, Chapter 6) and pull it off the crankshaft pulley.
4. Remove the pulley mounting bolt.
5. Insert a large screwdriver through the inspection hole in the clutch housing into the teeth of the starter ring gear so that the crankshaft cannot turn.
6. With the help of an assistant, hold a screwdriver in the crankshaft so that it is locked, remove the bolt and washer of the timing belt sprocket.
7. Remove the crankshaft pulley from the engine.
Installation
8. Place the pulley in place and install the mounting bolt, hand tighten the timing belt sprocket bolt.
9. With the crankshaft locked in the fixed position, tighten the sprocket bolt and pulley bolts to the specified tightening torque Specification.
10. Install and tighten the auxiliary drive belt.
11. Install the mudguard and front wheel, lower the car.
