Removing
Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.
Open the rear door and place a stop under it.
Place protective pads around the edges of the rear door opening to protect painted surfaces from damage. Place a clean rag under the top corners of the tailgate to protect the vehicle's paintwork when it is removed.
Mark the position of the rear door hinges with a marker.

Loosen the bolts and remove the stops 9 (pic. 12.2).
Disconnect any wiring harnesses that may interfere with tailgate removal.
Turn away bolts of loops of fastening and with the assistant remove a back door.
Installation
Position the rear door so that the position of the hinges matches the marks made before removing the door.
Screw in the bolts of the hinges and the rack and tighten them securely. Connect all wiring harnesses.

The position of the hinge and shock plate can be adjusted after loosening the bolts securing the shock plate and the nuts securing the hinges on the body (pic. 12.3, 12.4). To access the hinge nuts, use a lever to carefully lift the door upholstery panel and headlining of the passenger compartment and, moving the door, adjust its position.
Rear door stop
Fully open the back door.
Loosen the nut securing the stop to the rear door.
Remove the lower bolts securing the stop to the body and remove the door.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
