Removal



1. Open the hood.

2. Disconnect any wires or hoses that may interfere with removing the hood.

Adjustment

2. Tie a piece of wire or thick thread to the cable and remove the cable from its mountings in the engine compartment.

4. Unscrew the fastening nuts (indicated by an arrow) and remove the hood release handle and cable from the instrument panel.

5. Pull the cable into the passenger compartment and remove it from the car.
