Brake master cylinder — removal and installation (Mazda Capella GE)

Removal

1. Disconnect the cruise control cable if necessary.

2. On manual transmission models, disconnect the clutch release hose from the brake fluid reservoir.

3. Pump the brake fluid out of the reservoir.



4. Loosen the mounting nuts and disconnect the brake pipes from the cylinder.



5. Disconnect the fuel level sensor connector from the tank, unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the cylinder from the vacuum booster.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
