Inspection
1. Remove the brake caliper.
2. Inspect the disc surface for scratches or damage. If the scratches are deeper than 0.3 mm, the disc surface must be resurfaced.
3. Check disc runout with a dial gauge.
4. If the disc is in order, sand the surface of the disc.
5. Check the thickness of the disc and the difference in disc thickness between different areas. Replace the brake disc if necessary.
Attention! The minimum allowable brake disc thickness is usually indicated on the disc itself.
Removing
1. Before removing the brake disc of the front wheel, unscrew the fixing bolts (indicated by arrows).
2. Remove the caliper mounting bracket.
3. If the brake disc fixing bolts cannot be removed, use a special screwdriver.
4. If the brake disc cannot be removed, put two bolts into the provided holes and tighten them to remove the brake disc.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
