If the brake hose was only disconnected from one brake caliper, only that caliper or wheel cylinder needs to be bled.
If a brake pipe or hose has been disconnected between the master cylinder and the brake, only that part of the brake system needs to be bled.
Examination
1. Depress the brake pedal several times to remove the vacuum from the vacuum booster.
2. Fill the reservoir with brake fluid.
3. Bleeding the entire brake system must begin with the right rear wheel. Connect the hose to the bleed valve and dip the other end of the hose into the brake fluid.
4. Depress the brake pedal several times and leave depressed.
5. Open the bleed valve and let the air and brake fluid out.
6. Close the valve and slowly release the brake pedal.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until the escaping brake fluid contains no air bubbles. Then bleed the brake on the right front wheel, the right rear wheel, and the left front wheel. Keep an eye on the fluid level in the reservoir.
8. Check the operation of the brake system. The brake pedal must be firm. If necessary, repeat the pumping operation.
