The rear defroster removes frost, fog and thin ice from the rear window.
The ignition key must be in the ON (II) position. Remove all snow from the rear window.
Press the defroster switch; the indicator should light up.
Press the button again to turn off the defroster.
Caution: Do not use sharp tools or abrasive glass cleaners to clean the inside of the rear window. This may damage the defroster mesh inside the window.
When the button is in the on position, the defroster turns on for approximately 15 minutes. It then cycles between 3 minutes off and 2 minutes on for as long as the button remains in the on position. The indicator is constantly on.
